Happy New Year!
I shopped Etsy for a few Dragon things.
I am so glad I did.
I am looking forward to making a Dragon.
Today we begin the Year of the Rain Dragon.
I really love Dragons.
Our celebrations begin today on New Moon
and continue until Full Moon.
Fifteen days to celebrate!
There is a chance we could see Monoceros in the
night sky tonight. With the New Moon and clear skies
we might be able to pick the Unicorn out in the winter
Milky Way. I read Earth Sky every day.
I read where to look.
I love the good Unicorn too.
We will have a quick vegetable stir fry
and rice for our supper.
I am reading about the wonderful Dragons.

Baking Day
I have a small collection of butter stamps.
They hang in my kitchen.
I treasure them.
They remind me of the exquisite way
women once marked their butter.
We stirred up some dough to make a loaf of
gluten free bread.
It is resting.
We hope to find the perfect flour mix.
Everything thing we have baked
with Pamela's mix has turned out wonderful.
I hope the sandwhich bread is good.
I enjoyed reading this book.
I feel inspired to make my cookies
and everything else adorable.
Wow! These are very cute cookies.
Every day I look in my book to see the different holidays that are being celebrated around the world.
Today is St. Anthony's feast day.
He is the patron saint of animals.
I am thinking about olden times today while I wait
for our bread to bake.
Bread, hot from the oven, with butter and honey is a most delicious
treat. I hope this flour mix is a good one!

Tea
I took a cup of tea outside.
I read and took photographs of the birds.
It was sunny and warm for January, 51 degrees.
I have a few steeping mugs.
The Dragons are my favorites.
I have a few sipping cups.
The brown Dragon turns dark green when the cup heats up.
I really like Dragons.
I dried a few whole Peonies last May.
I have them in a crystal bowl on the coffee table.
They are lovely dried.
I shall make them into tea.
I like a little lemon with my peony tea.
I am learning about the beautiful Peony.
It is the flower of China.
Our Kitchen is gluten-free.
Now we need to learn how to make dumplings!

Buddha's Hand
While at the organic market we found a new to us citrus.
It is so exotic.
A finger is nice in tea!
